Well me and my friend were sitting listening to music and just screwing around on paper. Well I decided to draw my Mirror Goddess chick from my weird god story. It actually didn't take me a while to draw this one but her face took forever. I'm not used to drawing this small I guess.

Yea she has about the same color scheme as my samurai chick, but if I could get it to look right all the silverish parts would be shiny even her eyes.

While I was coloring her hair I look at it for a second and said it looks too much like Sakura. So I just kinda scribbled over it and decided it looked really neat, kinda like cotton candy. Besides she can just change her looks any time she wants.

Something about this picture... Hmmm...
I like it!

It's kind of hard to describe but, this is a really simple picture without much going on and yet I find I really enjoy it.

I really like the shirt and the metal rings. For some reason the bottom metal rings look almost ghostly like a vapor or something. I read from your comments that you wanted to go more silvery and shiny with it but I dunno, I think giving her ghost rings is pretty cool. ;-)

The pants are okay too, but nothing special either way I guess.

I wasn't sure about her hair right away but the more I stared at it the more it grew on me. I'd have to agree that it sorta looks like Sakura's, but you did a good job scribbling in those red streaks and it makes it stand out more. More unique I guess.

I also think the hair works well with the simple background you have. Again, I wasn't sure what I thought about the black scribble zig-zag behind her, but after examining it for a while I really liked how it all worked together as a whole.

Also, I'm usually pretty critical when it comes to hands, arms, etc... But the cross arm pose she has going on seems to look pretty natural to me. Can't really say there's anything about it to really notice other than you did a good job.

My only criticism would be on the face. Took me a while to decide what I didn't like about it and I think it boils down to the eyes. At first I thought maybe it was because the face was too plain, but that wasn't really it. I think the lack of coloring around the eyes makes it look slightly awkward. Yeah, even then I'm not sure if that's entirely it, but something above the nose and below the hair bugs me.

:-P

Oh, and I just noticed one other thing... Underneath her chin, around her neck area. There seems to be some rouge black scratch marks. This is being REALLY nitpicky but it sorta makes it look like she has some funky hair growth going on there or something.

-_-'

Okay, that was probably way to long of a critique and I probably got way to nitpicky. Guess I was just in one of my ranting moods.

Hope some of it was helpful at least.

Be sure and tear my next picture apart.

;-) :-) ;-)

See yah later!

This turned out really nice (and realistic!). You can sure make a lot more progress than me in a night. I didn't see her as a red head, but I think what you did turned out pretty cool... sort of like shiny mirror hair? I dunno..

I think maybe a little more black around the eyes would look good, but you don't have to make her look like a raccoon like I do with my girls. Maybe make the nostril a wee bit smaller too?

I think the colors work though. You should kept the belt on her even in different outfits.
